Defining default map settings

About this task

Map settings are compiled with a map. In the Map Designer, the map settings defined in the Map Settings dialog box are the default settings that apply when a map is created.

Each new map created uses the default map settings specified in the Run Options.

To define default map settings:

Procedure

  1. Click Window > Preferences > Transformation Extender > Map > Run Options .
  2. The MapSettings, DisplaySettings, and Configuration File are displayed in the Run Options properties dialog box.
  3. For Property, define the desired default.
  4. Click OK.
