Formatting a map rule

About this task

Some map rules may be lengthy. The map rule text wraps in the Rule editor. You can create a new line in the Rule editor where you want one.

Creating a new line in the Rule editor depends on what key is used as the "commit" key (the default is the Enter key). New lines may not be added in literal text strings.

Extra spaces in a map rule may be added to improve readability.

Spaces cannot be added within an object name or function name.
