Configuring TLS certificates for IBM Sterling Transformation

When IBM Sterling Transformation Extender is installed, default TLS certificates are generated for Design Server and other components. The product can be configured to use user-provided TLS certificates.

The Design Server application consists of a web UI server and a backend server. Both components can be configured to use custom TLS certificates.

The Runtime Server can also be configured to use custom TLS certificates. In a typical installation, Design Server and Runtime Server are installed together.

Configuring the product to use custom TLS certificates depends on the installation platform: Windows, native Linux, or containerized Linux.

TLS certificates are provided in the form of PEM certificate and private key files and PKCS12 files.
