Creating a map

This topic describes how you create a map in a map source file.

About this task

One or more maps are contained in map source files. You must select the map source file in the Extender Navigator view before you can create a map.

To create a map:

1. Select the map source file in the Outline view.
2. Click Map > New. The new map is listed in the Outline view.
   1. To rename the map, click Map > Rename and enter the new name in the Map name field.
