Viewing the trace file

After you configure a trace in the map settings and run the map, you can view a text-format trace file with a text editor or by using Map Designer.

About this task

You can view a text-format trace file with a text editor, or display it in Map Designer:

Procedure

  1. Select the map in the Extender Navigator view.
  2. Expand the map in the Outline view, and expand the Organizer folder.
  3. Double-click the Trace element.
    The Trace view displays the contents of the trace file.
