Viewing the audit log

About this task

If you configured your map settings to generate an audit log, you can view the audit log from the Organizer window.

To view the audit log:

Procedure

  1. After the audit is configured in the map settings and the map is run, select the map in the Extender Navigator view.
  2. Expand the map in the Outline view, and expand the Organizer folder.
  3. Double-click the Audit Log element. The Audit Log view opens, and you can view the contents of the audit log.

Results

If the value of the AuditLocation map setting is File, the audit log file can also be viewed with a text editor.

If the value of the AuditLocation > FileName is Unique, the audit log cannot be viewed from the Audit Log view.
