Reordering cards

About this task

You can reorder the input or output cards in a map source file. The reorder option is available only when there is more than one input or output card.

To reorder the cards in your map source file:

Procedure

  1. Open the Reorder Input Cards or Reorder Output Cards window in one of the following ways:
    • Option 1
    1. In the Outline view, expand the map.
    2. Right-click one of the input or output cards. whichever set of cards you want to reorder.
    3. Select Reorder.
    • Option 2
    1. In the Outline view, expand the map.
    2. Select one of the input or output cards. whichever set of cards you want to reorder.
    3. From the menu bar, click Card > Reorder.
    • Option 3
    1. In the Map editor, right-click one of the input or output cards. whichever set of cards you want to reorder.
    2. Select Reorder.
      The Reorder Input Cards or Reorder Output Cards window opens.
  2. Do combinations of selecting the cards and clicking Up or Down to get the cards in the order that you want.
  3. Click OK.

Results

The cards are reordered. See the reordered card in the Map editor or Outline view.
