Deleting a map

About this task

You can delete maps from map source files, and you can delete map source files.

To delete a map using the Delete key

Procedure

  1. In the Outline view, select the map(s) you want to delete.
  2. Press Delete.
    A confirmation dialog box is displayed.

To delete a map using the delete command

  1. Select the map or maps or map source file or files to be deleted in the Outline view.
  2. On the Map menu, click Delete.
    A confirmation dialog box is displayed.
