Using the 278N example

This topic describes how to use the 278N example files.

Perform these steps to use the 278N example:
  1. Open the map service_notification in the ..\mapsandschemas folder, then build the service_notification map.
  2. Execute the service_notification map. The input file, 278n_5010_examples.dat, can be found in the ..\data directory. The output file, service_notifications.xml, also found in the ..\data directory, is produced using service_notification.mtt, based on the service_notification.xsd schema in the ..\mapsandschemas directory.

For convenience, the 278N example contains a schema that only contains the 278 transaction.

For any production use of validation or mapping with the 278 transaction, the schemas in the following directory should be used. The schemas in this directory are supported with the latest fixes and enhancements:
