Viewing restrictions of an item

About this task

Item restrictions and values are entered in the Type Designer and can be viewed in the Map Designer. Item restrictions are viewed on the Restrictions property in the Properties view.

To view restrictions of an item

Procedure

  1. Right-click the item in the map card.
  2. On the context menu, click Show in Properties to view the Restrictions property.

To update the view on the Restrictions property

Procedure

  1. When the Properties view is already open, update the view by clicking the data object in the map card.
  2. The title bar of the Properties view displays the data object name.
