See the online documentation for a full list of the transactions currently supported.

    • Partial TAck_EDI
      • When generating the Translated Acknowledgement Report, or compliance_check_TAck.html, new parameters have been added to create the corresponding TAck_EDI.html with only the transactions containing errors, or no Tack_EDI.html at all.
  • Code Set updates

    • The following code sets were updated for currency: 507, 508, 716, 682, 229, 886, 139, 897
    • Code set added for ICD10 - 897_B- Principle Diagnosis. The value in this are based on excluding those codes in 897_A that have working "in diseases classified elsewhere", or "in other diseases classified elsewhere". This may still need to be customized by the user to enforce a smaller subset of codes to be used for principle Diagnosis.
  • HIPAA Type Trees supporting fail on excess trailing pad (spaces) characters

    • Separate versions of the HIPAA schemas are now provided if you need HIPAA Type 2 validation to report an error for a field that has excess trailing pad characters when not needed to fulfill a minimum size requirement. See the section below for details on the tree names and how to update maps that will use them.
  • Type 5 - NPI Valid check

    • If Type 5 validation is enabled, all segments that use an NPI will now validate that the first number of the NPI is a 1 or 2, and the check digit is correct based on assumed prefix of 80840 per the instructions at www.cms.gov. These rules are configurable if you have a need to disable this check for a particular segment.
  • Example updates

    • HIPAA 7030 Preview Draft examples updated to use version 8010 of the X12 Implement guides. New location when installed on Design Studio is install_dir\packs\healthcare_v10.2.0.0\hipaa\examples\preview_draft_80x0. When using Design Server, the updated maps are still contained in the hipaaExamples.zip project
    • The X12n example now also contains support for 8010 X12n transactions.
  • Configurable Rules

    • Additional input files available to support retention of the new setting for failing on excess trailing spaces.
    • Precompiled maps and batch files to use are now in:

      install_dir\packs\healthcare_v10.2.0.0\hipaa\configurable_rules\bin

  • Claim Level Rejection

    • Claim level rejection is now supported for the Post Adjudicated Claim Data Reporting (PACDR) Claim transactions (005010X298, 005010X299, and 005010X300). For these claims, if so configured, a 005010X365 277DRA Data Reporting Acknowledgement will be generated.
  • 824 Acknowledgment for Type 6 and 7 Warnings in HIPAA Data Compliance map

    • The hipaa_data_compliance_parameter.json file now has parameters to enable an 824 acknowledgment. The 824 will only contain Loop 2100 Technical deficiency (TED) information for type 6 and type 7 rules reported as WARNINGS, and will not contain any lower error types present in the transaction. The compliance_check_tack.html produced will show all errors and warnings.
  • HL7
