Modify an existing installation

If you did not select Design Server and REST API with InstallShield installation, you must uninstall and reinstall the Design Server and REST API options selected with Runtime and Monitoring installer.

If you change ITX configuration, you must reinstall both ITX runtime and Design time.

If you modify any of the ports or variables in the tx-server-env.bat or dtxtomcat.ini files, follow these steps:

1. Open a Windows terminal window and select Run as administrator.
2. Run the command: <install_dir>\clean.bat
3. Run the command: <install_dir>\install.bat

In addition, if you change any variable in the tx-rest.properties file, you must restart the Apache Tomcat service from the windows services console.
