Connectivity settings

Under Connectivity in the Sterling B2B Integrator preferences pane, specify the connectivity settings.

These connectivity settings are the connection properties, or parameters, that you configure for the Sterling B2B Integrator services.

Use the same server connection properties for 'Test Map' and 'Check In Map' services

Select the Use the same server connection properties for 'Test Map' and 'Check In Map' services check box to specify that the same set of connection properties be used when you test run, and deploy, maps. When the check box is selected, the preferences pane displays the Connection Properties tab.

Clear the Use the same server connection properties for 'Test Map' and 'Check In Map' services check box to specify that a different set of connection properties be used when you test run, and deploy, maps. When the check box is cleared, the preferences pane displays the Test Map Service and the Check In Map Service tabs.

Enter values in the fields and select the required options for the connection properties.

Login server

The host name or IP address of the Sterling B2B Integrator server.

Required.

Dashboard port

The port number for the Sterling B2B Integrator Dashboard.

Required.

User name

The name of the user authenticating to the Sterling B2B Integrator server.

Required.

Password

The password of the user authenticating to the Sterling B2B Integrator server.

Required.

Secure Transport

The option you select to establish a secure connection to the Sterling B2B Integrator server using HyperText Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS). If you do not select this option, the connection is established using HTTP.

If you select the Secure transport option, you can select the Trust all hosts option to manage the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.

Proxy server

The host name or IP address of the proxy server.

Proxy port

The number of the proxy port.

Target platform

The platform on which the Sterling B2B Integrator server is running.

Request timeout (sec)

The setting in seconds for the timeout threshold for the request message. This is the maximum time that the Design Studio waits for the response from the server.

Default value is 120.
