Deploying the Launcher Validation Framework

These procedures describe how to deploy the Launcher Validation Framework.

  1. Open validate_mt.msd using the Integration Flow Designer. The Integration Flow Designer is part of the IBM Transformation Extender Design Studio.
  2. Right-click on validate_mt system, and select Deploy\Local. The maps are then compiled, and a pop-up box will state "The Deploy operation has completed successfully. Would you like to see the results?"
  3. Click Yes, and view the MSEDploy.TXT file. There should be no errors, and a message should state “Deploy has completed successfully”. If the deploy has failed the most likely explanation is an error with the installation.
  4. Review the MSEDploy.TXT to locate the source of the error. If successful, the Launcher execution file validate_mt.msl is placed in the install_dir/systems folder.
If successful, the jvalccyy.prop file is copied to the maps/execution folder. Review this file to ensure it has the required parameter settings. See the JVC documentation for details on configuring the JVC.
