Updating a certificate

About this task

Use the Update operation to update a certificate in the JRE certificate store. It deletes an existing certificate before it adds the updated certificate to the store.

To update a certificate:

Procedure

  1. Click Window > Preferences > Transformation Extender > Map > Security. The Security preferences pane opens.
  2. Under Certificates, click Manage Certificates.
    The Manage Certificates window opens.
  3. In the File field, enter the name and path of the updated certificate.
  4. In the Alias field, enter the alias name for the certificate.
  5. Under Manage, display the Certificate list and select Update.
  6. When a confirmation message is displayed, click Yes.

    The results of the operation are displayed beneath the Certificate list. A successful operation displays the following message: 

    Certificate was added to keystore.
  7. Click Close in the Manage Certificates window, and click OK in the Security preferences pane to save the changes.
