Preview Draft 8010 example source maps

There are four source maps in the Preview Draft 8010 example.

Each source map contains a single executable map and required functional maps to perform a step-up from 5010 to 8010 or step-down from 8010 to 5010.

The source map, V8010x322_stepup, contains the executable map 5010_to_8010x322 with the following inputs from the directory:

install_dir\packs\healthcare_vn.n.n\hipaa\examples\preview_draft_80X0\data
  • 835_5010_stepup_examples.dat – contains 15 valid 835 transactions
  • v8010x322_examples.json – contains data for new 8010 fields for transaction with Transaction Control Number of 1309, and the base “ANY” transaction information for the other transactions in the 5010 input.

The single output card creates the file:

835_8010_stepup_examples.out

The corresponding step-down map for the 835 is 8010x322_to_5010.mmc, in source map V8010x322_stepdown.mms.

This map has a single input card, which uses the same file produced by the step-up map, 835_8010_stepup_examples.out, producing 835_5010_stepdown_examples.out.

The source map V7030x333_stepup.mms contains the executable map 5010_to_8010x333 with the following inputs:
  • 834_5010_stepup_examples.dat – contains 20 valid 824 transactions
  • v8010x333_examples.json – contains data for new 8010 fields for transaction with Transaction Control Number of 1289, and the base “ANY” transaction information for the other transactions in the 5010 input.

The single output card creates the file

834_8010_stepup_examples.out

The corresponding step-down map for the 834 is 8010x333_to_5010.mmc, in source map V8010x333_stepdown.mms.

This map has a single input card, which uses the same file produced by the step-up map, 834_8010_stepup_examples.out, producing 834_5010_stepdown_examples.out.
