Deleting a map

About this task

You can delete maps from map source files, and you can delete map source files.

To delete a map using the Delete key

Procedure

In the Outline view, select the map(s) you want to delete.
Press Delete.
A confirmation dialog box is displayed.

To delete a map using the delete command

Procedure

Select the map or maps or map source file or files to be deleted in the Outline view.
On the Map menu, click Delete.
A confirmation dialog box is displayed.
