The following procedures detail how to add or modify a server definition.

To change or assign a server in a system

Procedure

To change or assign a server for a system, select a new server from the Server drop-down list in the system window.

To edit a server definition

Procedure

  1. Select a system containing the server definition that you want to edit.
  2. Choose one of the following options:
    • From the Server menu, choose Edit.

      The Servers dialog is displayed.

    • Select the server from the list and click OK.

      Or

    • From the Navigator, right-click on the server and select Edit from the context menu.

      The Edit Server dialog is displayed displaying the current server information.

  3. Make changes and click OK.
    Note: After changing the server definition assigned to a system, the system should be analyzed and regenerated, as described in Generating System Files.
