The End Save Synchronization (ENDSAVSYNC) command ends an active synchronized checkpoint and any participating save while active operations that have yet to reach a synchronized checkpoint together.
Restrictions:
- You must have save system (*SAVSYS) special authority to run this command.

Synchronization ID (SYNCID)
Specifies the name of the synchronized checkpoint to end. This is the name specified on the Start Save Synchronization (STRSAVSYNC) command.
