Organization table (ORG)

The organization table describes the organization of the corporation.

The organization table is created with the following CREATE TABLE statement:

CREATE TABLE ORG 
             (DEPTNUMB SMALLINT NOT NULL, 
              DEPTNAME VARCHAR(14),
              MANAGER SMALLINT, 
              DIVISION VARCHAR(10), 
              LOCATION VARCHAR(13))

The table below gives the contents of the columns.

Column name	Description
DEPTNUMB	Department number
DEPTNAME	Department name
MANAGER	Manager number for the department
DIVISION	Division of the department
LOCATION	Location of the department
