You can find a topic more easily by setting a bookmark.
For an information center deployed on a server and viewed over an
intranet or the Internet, you can save bookmarks for topics to your browser's
bookmarks or favorites menu.
For an information center that is installed and viewed locally on your machine, you can save bookmarks for topics to the Bookmarks view.
- To set a bookmark for the current topic:
- In the information center deployed on a server, right-click any blank area on the current page, to open the menu. Choose the option of Add to favorites or Add to bookmarks, to save the topic in one of your Favorites folders.
- In the information center installed on your machine, click Bookmark (
) on the toolbar up
above the right corner.
- To see your bookmarks:
- In the information center deployed on a server, the Bookmark icon () is displayed only when you are using Internet
Explorer. You can use the Favorite menu of Internet
Explorer to find the bookmarks that you created.
- In the information center installed on your machine, click the Bookmarks tab

at the bottom of Bookmarks view.

- To delete a bookmark:
- In the information center deployed on a server, open the Favorite menu of Internet Explorer to find the bookmark. Right-click it and choose Delete in the menu.
- In the information center installed on your machine, click the Bookmarks tab

the topic name in the Topic pane, and click Delete Selected Bookmark (
) on
the toolbar.
- You can also delete all bookmarks in the information center that
runs locally on your machine. Click the Bookmarks tab
(), and click Delete
