The mkkrb5srv command creates the following files:

  • /etc/krb5/krb5.conf
  • /var/krb5/krb5kdc/kadm5.acl
  • /var/krb5/krb5kdc/kdc.conf

The mkkrb5clnt command creates the following file:

  • /etc/krb5/krb5.conf
The mkkrb5clnt -i files option adds the following stanza to the /usr/lib/security/methods.cfg file:
