Create an App Host pairing

You must create the App Host pairing before you create the App Host instance.

If you lose the pairing information, you can regenerate it by going to the App Host tab, clicking the menu button and selecting Renew. You should not regenerate the pairing information for an active App Host with apps installed and running.

Procedure

You access the SOAR Platform from the system where you installed the App Host software.

  1. Log in to the SOAR Platform organization for this App Host.

    The account must have administrator permissions and the App permission specifically.

  2. On the system menu, click Administrator Settings.
  3. On the Apps tab, click Add to open the Add App Host window.
  4. Type a unique name and optional description for the App Host.

    This name is used when you create the App Host.

  5. Click Add App Host.

    The system generates the information that is required to pair the App Host with the organization.

  6. Click Copy to clipboard.

    This information is required when you create the App Host, as described in Create the App Hosts.

  7. After you copy the pairing information to the clipboard, click Complete.
