Installing the SOAR Platform
Use the Installation documentation to learn about installing and upgrading IBM Security® QRadar® SOAR Platform.
Important: If you plan to install or have already installed the SOAR Platform (known as an on-premises configuration), note
that there are two configuration options, linked below. Make sure you select the correct
installation guide, as the installation instructions and requirements are different for each
configuration.
- Virtual Appliance Installation
The SOAR appliance is provided as a VMware virtual application (vApp) in Open Virtualization format (
.ovafile). This is the most common on-premises option. - IBM Security
QRadar SOAR software (standalone installation)
You install and configure the software on your own Red Hat® Enterprise Linux® system.
