Accessing the global dashboard

The global dashboard shows incidents originating from multiple customer (child) organizations. The incidents displayed on the global dashboard represent all of the incidents from all of the child organizations for which you have permissions to view.

About this task

To view incident data from multiple customers, you must navigate to the global dashboard. You can switch from the global dashboard to child organizations.

Procedure

Click the button beside your user name, scroll down, and select the global dashboard. The following animation shows how to navigate from a child organization named Federal Credit Union to the global dashboard, named Global Dashboard.

The Organization column shows the name of the child organizations in the global dashboard.

Global dashboard overview

The global dashboard shows incidents from multiple child organizations, for which you have permissions. The Organization column shows the child organization from which the incident originates. You can view, manage, and modify incidents from the global dashboard.

The following video shows incidents in a child organization called Federal Credit Union then how those incidents appear in the global dashboard.

Select an incident to view the incident details. From the incident, you can do updates such as adding a task or selecting an action from the Actions menu.

Go to the child organizations to create incidents for the customer account, perform bulk actions, and use the Analytics Dashboard and News Feed.
