Download apps from App Exchange
You can download apps from the IBM Security® App Exchange to your local system.
Your local system is the system that you are using to access the SOAR Platform.
Before you download an app, make sure you have an account on the App Exchange.
Alternatively, you can download the app as a .zip file to another system then copy it to your local system. You can also copy an app that is created by your own team. In these situations, you do not need to follow the procedure; instead, see Installing an app.
You can download apps that support the App Host Kubernetes-based container environment. The SOAR Platform prevents you from installing non-container-based apps. If you need to run an app in a non-container environment, you can download to and deploy the app from an integration server. See the Integration Server Guide for details.
- If not done already, log in to the SOAR Platform and select Administrator Settings in the system menu.
- Select the Apps tab.
- Click Need an App? to go to the IBM Security App Exchange.
- Find that app you want to download, click the app then click Download. You need to log in to the App Exchange to complete this step.
- Choose to save the file to your system. The app is downloaded to your system in a .zip file.

When done, install the app as described in Installing an app.
