SOAR Platform notifications

Use the notifications feature to alert users when a specific condition occurs for an object. A condition can be anything that you choose, such as object creation or deletion, or a change in value to a field. An object can be an incident, note, milestone, task, attachment, or artifact.

The two types of notifications are email and system. Email notifications are sent to users that are using the email address that is listed on each account. A system notification is available to users, where the notifications appear in each user’s Notifications page, accessible from the alert icon next to their usernames. Users can enable or disable each notification on their My Settings page.

Open the Notifications tab to view and manage notifications.

In the Enabled column in the notifications table, you can enable or disable notifications. If not enabled, the notification does not appear in the users' My Settings page. You can re-enable a notification.

For each enabled notification, you can set the default setting for the two types of notifications, email and system. Users can override the default setting in their My Settings page.

You can also delete notifications, which remove them from the SOAR Platform.
