Group policy proxy settings are not working

You may encounter the following error upon launching IBM® SPSS® Statistics Subscription:

Sign In error: Cannot verify access. Please ensure that you have internet access and click Retry.

The error is the result of IBM SPSS Statistics Subscription not honoring group policy proxy settings that are defined via the browser.

IBM SPSS Statistics Subscription does not support proxy settings that are defined via group policy in the browser.

The error does not occur when proxy settings are defined outside of the browser.
