Running the Analysis

  1. To run a Multinomial Logistic Regression analysis, from the menus choose:

    Analyze > Regression > Multinomial Logistic...

  2. Select Preferred breakfast as the dependent variable.
  3. Select Age category, Gender, and Lifestyle as factors.
  4. Click Model.

  5. Select Custom/Stepwise.
  6. Select Main effects from the Build Terms dropdown.
  7. Select agecat and active as forced entry terms.
  8. Click Continue.
  9. Click Statistics in the Multinomial Logistic Regression dialog box.

  10. Select Cell probabilities, Classification table, and Goodness of fit.
  11. Click Continue.
  12. Click OK in the Multinomial Logistic Regression dialog box.
