Estimated posterior distribution means

The estimated posterior means of the logarithm of current and beginning salary are $10.36 and $9.67, respectively. The credible intervals ($10.32, $10.39) and ($9.64, $9.70) give the area that has a 95% Bayesian coverage for the means of interest, respectively.

The posterior distribution plots illustrate symmetric bell-shapes centering around the estimated means or mode (both of which follow a t-distribution).
