Complex Samples Ordinal Regression Response Probabilities

The Response Probabilities dialog box allows you to specify whether the cumulative probability of a response (that is, the probability of belonging up to and including a particular category of the dependent variable) increases with increasing or decreasing values of the dependent variable.

How To Specify the Order of Response Probabilities for Complex Samples Ordinal Regression

This feature requires the Complex Samples option.

1. From the menus choose:

   Analyze > Complex Samples > Ordinal Regression...

2. Select a plan file. Optionally, select a custom joint probabilities file.
3. Click Continue.
4. In the Complex Samples Ordinal Regression dialog box, select a dependent variable and click Response Probabilities.
5. Specify whether cumulative response probabilities increase with increasing or decreasing values of the dependent variable.
