SYSFILE INFO

SYSFILE INFO displays complete dictionary information for all variables in an external IBM® SPSS® Statistics data file.

SYSFILE INFO [FILE=] 'file specification' [PASSWORD='password']

This command takes effect immediately. It does not read the active dataset or execute pending transformations. See the topic Command Order for more information.

Syntax for the SYSFILE INFO command can be generated from the File menu by choosing Display Data File Information and External File.
