To restructure the data from variables to
cases, from the menus choose:
Data > Restructure...
You want to restructure variables into cases,
so simply click Next in the
Restructure Data Wizard Welcome dialog box.

Since both weights and triglyceride
levels are measured, select More
than one in step 2 of the Restructure Data Wizard.
Click Next.

In the Case Group Identification
group, select Use selected variable from the dropdown list and select Patient
ID as the identification variable.
In the Variables to Be Transposed group, type trigly as the first target variable and select Triglyceride through Final triglyceride as the variables to be transposed.
In the Variables to Be Transposed group, select
trans2 from the dropdown list,
type weight as the second target
variable and select Weight through Final weight as the variables to be transposed.
Select Age in years and Gender as fixed variables.
Click Next.
You want to create just one index variable,
so simply click Next in the Variables
to Cases: Create Index Variables.

In the edit fields, in step 5 of the wizard,
type time as the variable name
and Measurements as the variable
label.
