The GLM Repeated Measures procedure is useful for modeling the linear relationship between one or more dependent scale variables, each measured multiple times, and one or more categorical and scale predictors.
- If there is just one dependent variable, use the Linear Mixed Models procedure. The Linear Mixed Models procedure allows for greater flexibility in modeling the within-subject effects.
- If there are not repeated mesures on each subject and just one dependent measure, use the GLM Univariate procedure.
- If there are not repeated mesures on each subject and multiple dependent measures, use the GLM Multivariate procedure.
- If there are only two measurements for each subject, and there are no between-subjects effects, you can alternatively use the Paired Samples T Test procedure.
