SPECFILE subcommand (SPATIAL MAPSPEC command)
The SPECFILE
subcommand specifies the name and location for the map
specification file defined by the SPATIAL MAPSPEC
command.
- FILE='filespec'
- Specifies the name and location of the file.
- The file specification must be enclosed in quotation marks.
- The output file is .zip archive with the default file extension .mplan.
- You can use "*\" as a directory path to specify the SPSS Statistics temporary directory. The temporary file is deleted at the end of the session.
- If you do not specify a file, a temporary file named mapspec.zip is created in the temporary directory. This file is deleted at the end of the session.
- DISPLAY=YES | NO
- Controls the display of an output table that contains the details of the map
specification. The default setting is
YES
. - SAVEDATA=NO | YES
- Controls whether data from the files are saved with the map specification.
- NO. The map specification contains only references to the files. This option is the default setting.
- YES. Data from map shape files, external data files, and datasets used in the map specification are saved in the .zip archive.
- Data from unsaved datasets in the map specification are always saved.
- Only references are saved for map services and databases.
