To Use Temporal Causal Model Forecasting

This feature requires the Statistics Forecasting option.

From the menus, choose:

Analyze > Forecasting > Apply Temporal Causal Models...

1. Enter the file specification for a model system file or click Browse and select a model system file. Model system files are created with the Temporal Causal Modeling procedure.
2. Click the option to reestimate models, create forecasts, and generate output.
3. Click Continue.
4. Specify whether you want to use existing model parameters or reestimate model parameters from the data in the active dataset.
5. Specify how far into the future to forecast, or specify not to forecast.
6. Click Options to specify the content of the output.
7. Click Save to save predictions, and export the updated model system to an external file when model parameters are reestimated.
8. Click Run to run the procedure.
