LAYERED and SEPARATE Subcommands (SPLIT FILE command)
LAYERED
and SEPARATE
specify how split-file groups are
displayed in the output.
- Only one of these subcommands can be specified. If
neither subcommand is specified with the
BY
variable list,LAYERED
is the default. -
LAYERED
andSEPARATE
do not apply to the text output.
LAYERED. Display split-file groups in the same table in the outermost column.
SEPARATE. Display split-file groups as separate tables.
