Pivoting the Table

Of course, separate tables can be created for each combination of grouping variable levels. However, all of these details can be exposed at once by pivoting the grouping variables out of the layers and into the row and column of this same table.

  1. Activate the table by double-clicking on it.
  2. From the Viewer menus choose:

    Pivot > Pivoting Trays

  3. Move Churn within last month from the Layer area to the Row area.
  4. Move Statistics from the Column to the Layer area.
  5. Move Geographic indicator icon from the Layer to the Column area.
  6. Close the Pivoting Trays dialog box.
  7. In the layer of the OLAP Cubes table, select Mean from the list of available statistics.
