Homogeneous Subsets

The Homogeneous Subsets view shows which transaction types are most similar. Each column corresponds to a "homogeneous subset", or set of fields that are similar to one another in terms of the total amount spent.
- The first homogeneous subset is comprised of spent_sum.1 and spent_sum.3, corresponding to Grocery and Entertainment spending.
- The second homogeneous subset is comprised of spent_sum.5 and spent_sum.4, corresponding to "Other" and Travel spending.
- The third homogeneous subset is comprised of spent_sum.2, corresponding to Retail spending.
Each homogeneous subset can be considered different from each other, with the first subset as the lowest-spending and the third subset as the highest-spending subset. Unlike the pairwise comparisons, homogeneous subsets do not provide an analysis of the difference between each transaction type, but it does provide a similar kind of information using a different method, and the homogeneous subsets table is much easier to parse than the pairwise comparisons table as the number of independent or related samples becomes large.
