Drilling Down

While a summary table is useful, the purpose of the analysis is to see how various groups differ. You can accomplish this by "drilling down" from the summary statistics to the specific group-level statistics hidden below them.

For example, to see statistics for the churn group:

  1. Double-click on the table to activate it.
  2. For the grouping variable Churn within last month, select Yes.
  • Across geographic regions, 274 customers churned last month.
  • The mean and median estimates for Household income in thousands and Average monthly expense are quite different. These distributions are both skewed toward the upper tail.
