SHOWDIM Subcommand (CROSSTABS command)
SHOWDIM specifies the number
of dimensions to be displayed as rows and columns in the crosstabulation
table, with the remainder of the dimensions displayed as table layers.
- The specification must be a positive integer. For
a specified value of n, the dimensions
corresponding to the variables before the nth
BYkeyword, as well as cell statistics (such as Count and Expected Count), will be displayed as rows or columns in the crosstabulation table. Variables after the nthBYkeyword will be displayed as layers in the crosstabulation table. - For
SHOWDIM = 1, values of the variables before the firstBYkeyword are shown as row headings and cell statistics are shown as column headings, in the crosstabulation table. All other dimensions appear in layers of the crosstabulation table. - When
SHOWDIMis omitted all dimensions will be displayed as rows or columns. - An integer value greater than or equal to the command
dimensionality (the number of
BYkeywords plus one) is equivalent to omitting theSHOWDIMsubcommand.
Note: SHOWDIM is only available in general mode.
