Distance Correlation: Print
- Print Details
- Select Print Details to display a table with the following essential measures: the number of observations (N), mean, standard deviation (Std. Deviation), and minimum and maximum values for each variable. These statistics provide a comprehensive overview of the dataset and you to get a better understanding of the distributions and characteristics of the variables that are compared.
- Distance Correlation Coefficients
- Select Distance Correalation Coeffcients to generate a table that shows
the distance correlation coefficients that are computed for the analysis. dCor
Value shows the distance correlation coefficient between the variables. If you opt to
Set Custom Seed in Criteria sub dialog box and set a
significance level, you can view the column Sig. that indicates the
significance level (p-value) associated with the computed correlation coefficient.
Number of Replicates (R) indicates the number of replicates (or permutations if opted) used in the analysis.
- Distance Covariance Estimates
- If users select a confidence Interval (CI) level, the table includes the upper and lower bounds of the confidence intervals, providing a more comprehensive view of the estimates.
- Distance Metrics and Significance Estimates
- The estimates help assess the relationships and dependencies between the variables that are analyzed.
- Distance Matrix
- Select Distance Matrix to generate a table that displays the distance matrix for single-dimensional data (For example. variable “Age”). The distances between each pair of observations are represented. The diagonal elements shows zero distance (distance to itself). This matrix provides a clear view of pairwise distances so that you can do a comprehensive analysis of the relationships among the variables. Select the option to configure a distance matrix. In the Configure Distance Matrix dialog box, select variables from the list for configuring the distance matrix.
- Save Distance Matrix as File
- Select the option to save the distance matrices to a file. Provide the file name in Outfile File Directory. The supported file extension is .sav.
