Use the Tab key to put focus in the variable list.
Use the space bar to select variables. Use the Shift key to select multiple contiguous variables. Use the Ctrl key and the space bar to select multiple non-contiguous variables.
After you select variables, use the Tab key to select a chart type.
After you select a chart type, press Enter to create the chart, or use Ctrl-Tab to move out of the chart area. Then, use the Tab key to move between the other controls.
