Remote IBM SPSS Statistics server parameters

A Remote IBM® SPSS® Statistics Server Definition specifies the connection parameters for IBM SPSS Statistics servers used to process job steps. IBM SPSS Statistics syntax processed using this server is executed on the IBM SPSS Statistics server.

  1. In the Host field, enter the hostname where the server resides.
  2. In the Port field, enter the port number to be used to connect to the host.
  3. To specify that Secure Socket Layer (SSL) is to be used for the server connection, select This is a secure port.
  4. Click Finish. The new definition appears in the Servers folder.
