Descriptive statistics, plus quartiles, percentiles, m-estimators, and outliers

To Obtain Descriptive Statistics for Scale Data within Categories

This feature requires the Statistics Base option.

1. From the menus choose:

   Analyze > Descriptive Statistics > Explore...

2. Select one or more scale, numeric dependent variables.
3. Select a categorical factor (grouping) variable.
4. Click Statistics...
5. Select the statistics you want.
