Applying a Chart Template

1. Open the chart to which you want to apply a template in the Chart Editor.
2. From the menus choose:

   File > Apply Chart Template

3. Select the file containing the template that you want to apply. You can read the description of the template. You can also click View to check which settings are saved in the template. The Chart Editor will apply all of the listed settings. For details about each setting, see Template Settings Details .
4. Click Open to apply the settings in the selected template.

If you don't see some results that you expect, make sure that the template options were set explicitly. If a setting is automatic, the result in the chart might not match the chart with which you created the template.

Note: You can also have a default template that is automatically applied to your charts. See the topic Specifying a Default Template for more information.
