Command Syntax Files

After you have planned the report and its production, write the command syntax file. You need to specify:

• Data. Create or use an existing data source. If data transformations are required, add the appropriate syntax to the job.
• Syntax. Decide what syntax corresponds to the statistical procedures that you want to run, and then build and verify the syntax file.
• Output. Decide which output format to use and which options are appropriate.
