Adding a Time-Dependent Predictor

  1. Recall the Complex Samples Cox Regression dialog box and click the Predictors tab.
  2. Click New.

  3. In the Define Time-Dependent Predictor dialog, type t_age as the name of the time-dependent predictor you want to define.
  4. Type ln(T_)*age as the numeric expression.
  5. Click Continue.

  6. On the Predictors tab, select t_age as a covariate.
  7. Click the Statistics tab.

  8. On the Statistics tab, select Estimate, Standard error, Confidence interval, and Design effect in the Parameters group.
  9. Deselect Test of proportional hazards and Parameter estimates for alternative model in the Model Assumptions group.
  10. Click OK.
