The Summarize procedure allows you great control over the level of detail displayed in report tables. Summary statistics can be specified or not; individual cases can be listed or not; either may appear within levels of a categorical variable. Statistical calculations and case listings can be performed on the entire data file or limited to whatever number of cases you choose. Additionally, customized titles, footnotes, and missing value annotations help you to create presentation-quality report tables.

• The Means procedure provides similar functionality but by default displays different statistics and has a different table layout. The Means procedure additionally provides a one-way ANOVA and test for linearity.
• The OLAP Cubes procedure provides similar functionality but by default displays different statistics and has a different table layout.
• The Explore procedure provides additional statistics and plots for scale variables within the categories of a single grouping variable at a time.
