Initial

With the Initial subtab, you can request output that is related to the initial configuration, decomposition of fit, and diagnostic measures after initial estimation.

Tables
Option Description
Coordinates Displays the coordinates of objects in the initial configuration.
Variable Directions Shows the vector directions of original variables in the configuration space (for multivariate data). Gives multiple coordinates for nominal variables (if present in multivariate data).
Property Directions Displays the directions of property variables (enabled only when properties are defined). Gives multiple coordinates for nominal variables (if present in multivariate data).
Stress Decomposition Reports the contribution of each object to the overall loss (stress) value.
Diagnostics Includes fit statistics and diagnostics for evaluating the initial solution. These includes eigenvalues and eigenvectors for the classical scaling start.
Graphs
Option Description
Configuration Displays a graphical representation of the object space.
Multivariate Biplot Combines object points and variable vector directions in a joint plot, available for multivariate data.
Properties Biplot Visualizes the relationship between objects and property variables (available when properties are defined).
Scree Plot Graphs the eigenvalues of the classical scaling solution and the remaining dimensions.
Stress Plot A bubble plot superimposed on the object configuration space. Each object is represented as a point surrounded by a circle. The size of each circle reflects the relative contribution of that object to the overall Normalized Stress in the configuration.
